As a Security Officer and the first point of contact with our employees, guests and vendors, you will be the epitome of professional customer service while also monitoring the grounds for security breaches and controlling entry-point access to and within our facilities. You will also serve as a direct liaison to management as you communicate any safety risks or hazards, and to Administrative Services as you assist with the inspection of critical equipment throughout the facility.

As a Security Officer working in our offices in Phoenix, your enthusiasm for safety and security along with your high school diploma, GED or equivalent and relevant hands-on customer service experience will serve as the foundation for your success in this role. Previous security experience is preferred but not required.

Bringing your meticulous attention to detail and consistent follow up ensures that all incidents and irregularities are logged, documented and reported in a timely and effective manner to Human Resources. Clear and direct communication will prove key as you work with management and Administrative Services to complete maintenance and security updates and inspections.

This is a 24 x 7 department and shift flexibility is expected. For example, your targeted schedule would be Monday 3 PM - 11 PM, Off on Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM and on Saturday - Sunday 7 AM - 3 PM. Schedules are subject to change, so bringing an ability to adapt and lead in various situations will allow you to hit the ground running.     • Knowledge of fire alarm panel systems preferred.

    • Resolves routine problems.
    • Compiles data for reports and checks documents for accuracy.
  • Other Requirements
    • Extended periods of standing/walking/climbing stairs.
    • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb, twist, and lift 50 lbs.

Key to your success is your demonstrated ability for working with Microsoft Office Suite applications and a passion for consistent documentation, as well as record keeping. These are required elements and your strength in these areas are  certain to set you apart from the competition. Previous experience with card access and video systems are a plus. Certification in both First Aid and CPR is also a plus; however, if you don't have current certification, we will train and certify you as you will be the point person on site in the event of an emergency.
