Brand Development Designer - Oregon or Washington

Our Designers work with hotel owners to develop property improvement plans that align with Best Western Hotels & Resorts design standards. You will take a consultative approach while guiding hotels that are transitioning to the Best Western brand. Your previous interior design experience will be utilized while leveraging your strong customer service and consultative skill sets used in your previous positions. You will also be responsible for development of various reports, photos and documentation to assess property design compliance. You will make recommendations to property owners on design related matters, while maintaining quality service by following Company standards.
You will be in a position to welcome the new hotel into the Best Western brand, and get them ready to represent Best Western and appeal to future customers.
This position is client facing, and requires frequent travel; 75% to 80% on a regional and occasionally national level. Candidates will have access to a major metropolitan airport in one of the following states:
- A minimum of 5 years previous design experience in hospitality or commercial industries
- Extensive experience in reviewing specs and design compliance
- Successful client facing and relationship building experience
- NCIDQ certification preferred
- Previous design/architecture project management experience preferred
