Hotel Sales Optimization Manager
Bring your previous sales experience in the hotel industry and leverage your proven sales management skill as a Hotel Sales Optimization Manager at Best Western Hotels & Resorts. Showcase your business acumen and assist in driving revenue as you strategize, mentor and coach our hotel owners on company programs. You will have an opportunity to make a significant impact as you help our hotels increase their worldwide sales program participation (as applicable to the specific property) by promoting revenue enhancing sales programs, tools and resources. Self-discipline and motivation is a critical component in this position as well as an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities successfully while adapting to a fast-paced environment. Provide required and customized sales training to support our hotels while leading the effort to develop sales strategies and action plans that will move market share.
As a Hotel Sales Optimization Manager based from your remote office in the Phoenix area, you will act as the primary contact for new and transitioning properties to provide strategies to assist properties in overall sales revenue goals. Strong analytical skills will quickly allow you to be a subject matter expert as you work with properties to identify and develop sales and marketing opportunities and strategies by completing thorough competitive market analysis for assigned properties. Your relationship building skills will help you deliver this information and optimize our hotel owner' experiences by mentoring and coaching hotel staff on day-to-day sales strategies.
Experience in the hospitality industry combined with your outgoing personality will be an advantage as you promote education and enhance communication with properties, Worldwide Sales managers and other key touch points within Best Western.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience including hotel property level experience required- sales experience preferred
- Previous experience as a property level Director of Sales, Regional Director of Sales or National Sales is required
- Bachelors’ Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Sales, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven, strong experience in Microsoft Office products
- Self-starter, motivated, organized and disciplined
- Strong presentation, communication, and written skills
- 40 percent travel required
