Job Description

Supports Best Western's loyalty program - Best Western Rewards - in the testing and implementation of program releases. Also responsible for the tracking of redemption program services.

Essential Job Results 

  • QA Testing of program standard releases: Mercury (Rewards Customer Service Application), GRS (website), Mobile App, MemberWeb (hotel use) and Hotel portal (hotel use)
  • Ongoing support relative to testing, researching issues and troubleshooting defects of Mercury, GRS, Mobile app, MemberWeb and Hotel portal relative to the loyalty program.
  • Monitoring and tracking all requests for loyalty card redemptions via direct request and through our card redemption partner.
  • Responding to general BWR/WHR questions from Affiliate offices, Central Reservation offices, Hotels and Rewards members
  • Assisting with review and tracking program fraud files
  • Global loyalty program assistance - troubleshoot issues, answer general questions and participate in meetings with Affiliate offices and International hotels
  • Developing and implementing ongoing recommendations to help meet goals for loyalty program. 
  • Prepares reports by compiling data, tracking and analyzing program metrics. Assesses and provides insights on variances, initiatives and promotional performance, and loyalty program member activity/engagement.

Experience

  • 2 years related experience in technology analyst role.
  • Experience with QA testing and problem resolution.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
