Essential Job Results

Looking for a strong project oriented individual to coordinate projects produced by our internal creative and social team. As Project Specialist, you’ll be the point of contact for all projects coming in to Brand Marketing and seeing them through to completion. You’ll be meeting with internal stakeholders to define project requirements by identifying project scope, milestones, phases and resource requirements.  Provide ongoing evaluation of project progress by tracking activity, overcoming obstacles, providing updates and recommending course corrections as needed. Write and maintain documentation on decisions, prepare analysis on outcomes by collecting, researching and analyzing data. May present findings to division or org leadership. All while providing ongoing effective communication with internal team members and functional areas as well as vendors and other project partners.

Experience/Skills

This position needs someone with strong consultative skills and a capacity for multi-tasking multiple high-profile initiatives simultaneously. You have at least five (5) years of progressive experience managing projects, assembling project teams, acquiring resources and interacting with vendors. You are a big-picture thinker, ensuring all work product delivers on our brand’s strategic vision and goals. As these projects have high visibility for the Best Western Hotels & Resorts brand, excellent written and verbal communications skills are needed with strong attention to detail for copywriting, editing and proofing to ensure consistency in the voice of the brand.  Proficiency with full Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams/Sharepoint)

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
