Supports Worldwide Sales business goals by applying customer relationship management (CRM) best practices to develop, maintain and ensure the ongoing viability of the Sales CRM system. Develops and provides user training related to Sales CRM system. Successfully promotes optimal use of the CRM system by fostering an effective business relationship with peers, vendors, and management. Develops, monitors, maintains and updates local databases and reporting systems. Participates in system troubleshooting and recovery of system outages. Serves as technical resource to Worldwide Sales staff. Provides analytical support and offers solutions to the sales team by producing and evaluating complex sales-related data. Assist in producing Month-End and Yearly Sales dashboard results that measure revenue activity.
Essential Job Results
Analyzes and evaluates complex business data and metrics by establishing a research and reporting methodology. Data is received from a variety of sources relating to multiple sales programs Provides planning and control information by analyzing historical data, identifying trends, providing sales forecasts and recommending actions. Establishes sales-related goals by recommending baselines and formulating production goals. May support sales variable compensation programs by establishing performance targets or goals. Deliver reliable, responsive and value-conscious reports that meet client expectations. Maintain an effective interpersonal relationship with peers and management and informally arbitrate between project team members, clients and management when conflict or critical matters exist. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Strong knowledge of Visual Basics, Access, Visio, Query Builder, Crystal Reports, Cognos, and SalesLogix CRM system. Demonstrated project management and business analyst skills and ability to work directly with developers toward issue resolution in a deadline-oriented environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. Applicable IS/IT certification strongly preferred Exceptional time management, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong and effective verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills. Minimum 3 to 5 years progressive data/reporting experience with strong aptitude in database design, query concepts and abstract ideas. Experience in monitoring revenue metric performance Globally. 2 to 4 years experience working in a customer relationship management (CRM) environment with at least 1 year analytical experience and --2 years data dashboard development experience. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
