Promotes consistency of established services, programs, policies and procedures and the development of member property owners, management and staff by conducting learning management system workshops and refresher training classes. Develops and continuously improves the learning management system training programs, develops training courses and workshops.
Essential Job Results
Contributes to member value by developing online training programs for member property owners, general managers, department managers, line-level and headquarters staff. Develops a wide variety of assigned technical and soft skills training covering guest service, safety and security, sales and marketing, preventative maintenance, housekeeping, revenue management, human resources, leadership-commerce, industry trends, and best practices. Provides personalized interaction and professional services to members by designing, planning, preparing and executing online training programs in response to member special requests. Conducts workshops at the District meetings, Annual Convention and presents monthly in the General Manager program. Ensures consistency across operations by providing guidance in the operational implementation of mandatory and voluntary programs and services provided on the learning management system. Participates in the training function's viability by assisting in the development and continuous improvement of new online training courses. Insure that any e-learning third party content is implemented and integrated correctly in the learning management system Develop materials for users, supervisors, administrators, and other constituents to enable accurate and knowledgeable use of the learning system. Be the liaison between the Education & Training department and other BWI departments in managing their online training needs. Providing training to users, supervisors, administrators, and others who interact with the learning management system. Accurately track new, deleted, and revised items and insure proper documentation of the e-learning events in the learning management system.
Strong background in computer technology and/or use of learning management systems preferred Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite. May require advanced proficiency in one or more specific applications. Demonstrated stand up presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to design curriculum and create online programs in the hospitality industry environment. Understanding of databases and their relationships. Ability to manage multiple projects that are complex in nature and broad in scope, including process improvement Basic to advanced knowledge of learning technologies ranging from Learning Management System (LMS) to web-enabled learning solutions in the context of effective instructional design and performance support

Pay and Work Schedule
Hiring rate for this position is $42,000 to $48,000 per year, depending on experience.
This position requires routine travel of up to 25%.
