Essential Job Results

  • Provides project design support by assisting in developing and presenting designs.  Interprets design requirements and layouts.  Helps prepare drawings and specifications for new construction and property renovation projects.
  • Provides functional assistance by maintaining the library of interior design materials and resources.
  • Specifies FF&E items.
  • Supports design projects by participating in special assignments such as conventions and trade shows.
  • Develop industry trade knowledge by attending vendor presentations, design related trade shows and pursuing educational and training opportunities.
  • Be responsible for meeting project deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Consult with manufacturers, research, and evaluate FF&E materials and products.
  • Promotes compliance with Company and professional design standards.

Experience

  • Entry level position in interior design.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Skills

  • Experience in interior design and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in Interior Design. Hospitality experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong creative and communication skills
  • Sense of urgency to complete tasks and meet deadlines

Other Requirements

  • May travel up to 10% of work time.
  • Location is typically remote 2 days per week and onsite at Headquarters (HQ) 3 days per week. HQ address is 6201 N 24th Parkway in Phoenix, AZ)
