Essential Job Results

  • Promotes compliance with Company and professional design standards by providing members, and conditional applicants, with project design services.  Develops and prepares presentation drawings and specifications using design principles.
  • Provides design consulting services by visiting property sites and/or meeting with members and conditional applicants.  Determines design requirements, applies functional analysis and space planning principles, and makes presentations to clients.
  • Meets Company and professional design requirements by reviewing member and conditional applicant submittals and plans for new construction or refurbishments.  Reviews reports, photos and plans to assess properties and correct design deficiencies in compliance with design guidelines.
  • Evaluates products and makes purchasing recommendations by meeting with contract FF&E suppliers.
  • Supports design programs by preparing preliminary budgets for client review.
  • Provides support for in-house projects and relocations.
  • Maintains quality service by following Company standards.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of related, professional level experience in interior design/architecture for commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities.
  • Hotel industry experience preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design/Architecture or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

  • Experience in interior design and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Interior Design. Hospitality or Architectural experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong creative and communication skills
  • Sense of urgency to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to diplomatically communicate deficiencies and required changes.
  • NCIDQ certification preferred.

Other Requirements

  • May travel up to 20% of work time.
  • Location is typically remote 2 days per week and onsite at Headquarters (HQ) 3 days per week. HQ address is 6201 N 24th Parkway in Phoenix, AZ)
