Trainer Responsibilities:

  • Organize and conduct virtual training sessions with hotel contacts via Microsoft Teams and or phone and email.
  • Lead hotel trainer sessions to educate hoteliers on their new Property Management System (PMS).
  • Utilize a variety of training methods, including on-the-job coaching, digital training, and e-learning.
  • Review, document, and update training materials and manuals for AutoClerk Cloud.
  • Create and edit eLearning content, including recording audio vocals and writing video scripts.
  • Research and recommend innovative training methods.

Technical Support:

  • Provide comprehensive support by leveraging a broad understanding of computer systems, products, and services.
  • Maintain IT service functionality and user satisfaction by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of hotels to the Two-way Interface by applying extensive systems knowledge.
  • Support business operations through technical assistance and the delivery of high-performance applications and services.
  • Collaborate with specialists and users to determine requirements and ensure user satisfaction.
  • Diagnose and swiftly resolve issues to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Escalate issues requiring further repairs, training, or follow-up to appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents and service requests accurately to maintain comprehensive records.
  • Handle sensitive business information with the utmost confidentiality.

Preferred Background:

  • Hotel experience and Property Management System (PMS) experience (AutoClerk, Opera, ChorumPM, Visual Matrix).
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • Degrees or Certifications: Experience is more important than formal degrees or certifications.

Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency in video editing software and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Systems configuration or installation experience may be required.
  • Technical skills in areas such as networks and macros.
  • Advanced proficiency in specific applications may be required.
  • Basic SQL experience and understanding.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn.
  • Innovative thinking and problem-solving.
  • Positive hotel feedback.

Work Location

  • This is a remote U.S. based position, working from your home office in the state of your current residence.
  • Typically, the job working hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, flexibility is required as needed.

Pay

  • The starting salary for this role is estimated to be between $63,500 and $70,000. Base pay, however, will be determined based on several factors, which include but are not limited to, applicable skills, work experience, education, business needs and market demands.  This position is not bonus eligible.
