Best Western Hotels & Resorts is a leading, global hospitality network comprised of three hotel companies, including WorldHotels® Collection, Best Western® Hotels & Resorts and SureStay Hotel Group®.

The Senior Manager of Loyalty Marketing leads the Rewards program operations for Best Western Hotels and Resorts, a leading global hospitality brand.  This role is a critical asset to the future of the brand’s loyalty efforts and is responsible for supporting over 2,400 properties in North America to effectively enroll and recognize Rewards members while driving return visits and incremental revenue to their hotels.  This position will be responsible for end-to-end program management including developing and managing content, training, incentives, enrollment metrics, internal incentives, property outreach and more.  The role also includes managing and leading at least two team members.

Job Function

  • Represents Loyalty team across multiple corporate departments and presents regular updates to regional and corporate leadership
  • Leads the Loyalty Operations team and oversees end-to-end program management
  • Oversees recognition program for over 2,400 hotels across North America
  • Develops and delivers training curriculum to over 2,400 independent hotels
  • Designs and issues communications plans to properties regarding Rewards promotions, messaging, and training
  • Manages the internal incentive program to motivate property staff to successfully enroll guests in Rewards program
  • Works directly with hotel owners to support loyalty efforts at the property level
  • Partners with Promotions team to ensure alignment on seasonal offers, messaging and performance
  • Collaborates with Analytics team to measure, track and report Rewards enrollment performance
  • Manages, develops and motivates team of direct reports effectively
  • Collaborates across numerous disciplines of the organization including Technology, Finance, Revenue Management, Ecommerce and Sales
  • Liaises with other Member touchpoints throughout the organization to represent Rewards strategies and programs

Skills/Education/Experience

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years related, professional level experience in loyalty marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Experience with Camtasia, Vyond or other video creation tools a plus
  • Property experience preferred
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Public speaking and presentation
  • Training/Content/Curriculum Development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, able to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.  Financial and budgeting acumen required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
