Essential Job Results

Obtains and accurately records initial property information in the program database, enabling other departments to effectively begin the onboarding process.  
Researches through external and internal sources, including the applicant, impact study consultants, board members, governors, regional development directors, legal team, designers and architects, accounting, brand identity, education & training, sales, the onboarding team, and others.
Identifies correct governor, ensures no conflict of interest, ensures support from the board member to use the respective governor, and works with an alternate governor when there is a conflict. 
Works hand in hand on a daily basis with North American Development through the application process.  Works daily with the  onboarding team from receipt of application and beyond activation to ensure satisfaction of franchisee requirements.
Administers and ensures compliance with the bylaws regarding member market area and impact.
Notifies existing member properties of their rights in accordance with the rules & regulations and the bylaws, responding to member concerns about the new application.  Ensures member concerns are communicated to the Board. Pursues Board mandated information from both the applicant and the objecting member to move forward with an impact study request.  Ensures the independent consultant has all the information required to conduct the study.
Reviews and prepares all information to be considered by the Board for each property.  
Develops contracts reflecting the Board’s decision regarding franchisee rights/obligations.
Regularly communicates with applicants regarding contract.  Ensures contract is the guiding document throughout the onboarding process.
Handles checks and wire transfers on a daily basis.  Responsible for ensuring payment of all fees associated with the new franchise process, including pursuing past due fees.  Ensure proper paperwork in in order to request refunds of large amounts of money.  Verifies and mails refund checks.
verifies social security numbers of all principals involved with new franchise properties.  May require pursuit of social security cards, passports, drivers licenses, etc., if for some reason the social security number cannot be verified. 

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years related experience.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.

Other

  • Monday through Friday (daytime schedule)
  • Location: typically remote 2 days per week, onsite at Headquarters 3 days per week (HQ is 6201 N. 24th Pkwy in Phoenix, AZ)
